Corm-grown Alocasia azlanii Pink Variegated from my own mother plant, originally purchased as a tissue culture plantlet from The Eden Lab. The mother has shown strong variegation, producing the kind of dark, glossy foliage and pale albo patterning that makes this plant so addictive to watch leaf by leaf.

This form is especially known for its pink emergent leaves. New growth can open with soft pink variegation before gradually fading to white as the leaf hardens. That colour shift is normal for Azlanii Pink Variegated, and it is part of the appeal rather than a flaw.

The leaves carry that classic azlanii depth: dark, almost black-green foliage, metallic sheen, and purple veining that becomes much more visible under the right lighting. The contrast between the dark leaf, pale variegation, and purple veins gives this plant a properly dramatic look without needing to shout.

This plant was grown from corm and rooted in moss before listing. It has been held back until the root system was active enough to justify sending it out. As with all variegated Alocasias, stable warmth, humidity, good airflow, and careful watering will give it the best chance to settle quickly and continue growing well.

A serious little collector plant with strong provenance, real contrast, and that moody Azlanii presence.
